“Understanding the Times”
A young adult study in biblical worldview
Led by Chuck Carson in Modular Building 2
College and early career young adults often find their foundational beliefs challenged and in need of a firmer answer for why they believe what they believe. This course will seek to clarify what a biblical worldview truly consists of and help establish a strong base for weathering the secular storms that are raging in our culture today.
“Women in the Bible”
Led by Cindy Parker in Room 110 in the Fellowship Hall
This study is designed to help women be all God designed them to be. Each study will involve examination of biblical characters and precepts that particularly impact the lives of women who follow Christ.
“Stepping Up” Video study by Beth Moore
Led by Becky Wetherington & Angela Snyder
in Room 113 in the Fellowship Hall
This Old Testament study brings eternal truths to bear on our contemporary resemblance to the excesses of ancient Babylon. It is an exciting twelve week series designed with five lessons each week. God uses Beth Moore to stretch you trust in His power!
“FLAWED: imperfect people chosen by God”
A character study from the Old Testament
Led by Rev. Rick Parker in Room 112 in the Fellowship Hall
This will cover the first six weeks of the semester helping participants to understand that God doesn’t wait for us to become perfect before He uses us.
“UNCOMMON: compelled by God’s call”
Led by Rev. Rick Parker in Room 112 in the Fellowship Hall
This will cover the second six weeks of the semester. This unit will take a look at six key encounters between God and His people. Each session provides the opportunity to consider the requirements on God’s call on our lives.
“Every Man’s Battle”
A book study small group designed to equip men to overcome the sexual temptations common to every male. Each group for this study will be limited to eight men. Led by John Nall in Room 107 and other leaders TBA in Room 109. Other groups may meet off campus on nights and times determined by each group.
“Journey to the Tabernacle”
A study of the Old Testament Tent of Meeting
Led by Rev. Charlie Scarbrough in Room 114 in the Fellowship Hall
This Bible study examines the message God placed in the function and make up of the transient tent of meeting. A notebook and twelve weeks of study aids are part of this curriculum.
CLASSES WILL MEET EACH SUNDAY FROM 5:30 TO 7:00 PM.
