CROSSROADS U RESUMES ON JANUARY 31, 2010

 

“FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY”                                                                                                            A 13 week video series by Dave Ramsey Led by Miles and Lisa Hannan.  This study features Dave Ramsey on DVD with discussion to follow led by Miles and Lisa Hannan. Topics covered include Super Saving, Relating with Money, Cash Flow Planning, Dumping Debt, insurance, real estate and investment planning. The average family saves $2,700 and pays off $5,300 in debt in ninety days by following this proven plan! The cost of $93 per family covers a lifetime membership and a complete member kit including audio CD’s of each lesson, personal finance software, budgeting forms and much more.  Location: Worship Center

“JOURNEY INTO KNOWING JESUS”
John didn't write his gospel to give us a lot of facts about Jesus, but so we can get to know Him and have a personal relationship with Him. Lesson titles include: How Jesus Can Change You, Receiving a New Beginning, When You've Been Bad and Becoming a Bold Believer. Led by Rev. Charlie Scarbrough                                       Location: Fellowship Hall Room 112

 “GRIPPED BY THE GREATNESS OF GOD”                                                                                                A video series by Pastor and author, James McDonald. This study will explore the holiness, awesomeness and sovereignty of God as well as our identity in God. Pastor James will be featured in a DVD segment followed by discussion led by Pastor Rick Parker. Location: Fellowship Hall Room 110

 “THE MAN GOD USES”                                                                                                                           This study is based on the book of the same title by Henry and Tom Blackaby. Lessons will examine the character of the man God uses, how God shapes a man, man’s response to God, being a kingdom citizen and others.    Location: Fellowship Hall Room 109

Activities and Classes for Children and Youth

Youth Choir (6th-12th grades) Led by Dee Bondurant begins January 24th                                               Meeting in the choir room from 4:30 - 5:30.

Youth Bible Study (For Middle school students)                                                                                           Students will meet in the Barn and portables from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Children’s Music & Missions (For children grades in 1st-5th)                                                                       Children will meet in the Choir Room from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for musical fun                                                  and a missions focus. A light snack will be provided.

Preschool Choir (For children 4 years old - Kindergarten)                                                                      Children meet in Room 201 of the Children’s Building from 5:30 - 6:10.

Mission Friends (For children 4 years old - Kindergarten)                                                                          Children meet in Room 203 of the Children’s Building from 6:15 - 7:00 p.m

The spring semester runs from Jan. 31st through May 16th                                 with breaks on Feb. 14th and April 4th. Classes meet each Sunday                     from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.
