OUR HISTORY

Crossroads Baptist Church officially began in August of 1998 as a result of the merger of two Valdosta congregations, Lee Street Baptist Church and Azalea City Baptist Church. Currently with over 1,000 total members, Crossroads has grown to be one of the largest local churches in our area. Scores of new people each year are coming to call Crossroads Baptist Church their spiritual home. They are discovering that this body of believers is their place for family, friends, and faith!

 

Our church is a cooperating member of the Valdosta Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. Crossroads has come to be known as a thriving church body that ministers to all ages. Dynamic praise and worship and relevant Biblical messages are the hallmarks of our worship experiences at both 9:00 and 10:30 each Sunday morning. Age appropriate Sunday School classes are provided on Sunday mornings during two different sessions, also at 9:00 and 10:30. We also provide a varied and significant program of activities on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
